Issue with new flared staircase feature - lighting

Hello! I'm tyring out the new flared staircase feature and have an issue with half of the railing being very bright and not "blending" into the second half where it begins to round. I have a chandelier at the landing of the staircase that I love, and if I take it down the whole room becomes too dark, but you can still see the harsh lighting difference on the railings regardless. Wish I can let the EA teams know before the new expansion pack release! any suggestions? *pictures attached*
