Issues with cc bar stools and chairs

Does anyone else have this issue lately? I just noticed that now, whenever my sim should be using her chairs at her dining table or the chairs at her island, she doesn't if they're CC. She will use stools if they are game content, but if it is anything that I downloaded she will act like there is some kind of issue with using them (she can't get to them) and she will just eat standing up. These things used to work too, so I know that it is not something to do with their coding, but it seems like the latest update might have caused this glitch. It sucks, cause I really don't like a lot of the stuff that is in the game, which is why I have spent a decent amount of time searching for content that I actually like. Is there something that I can do, or do I need to repair my game? Or is this just one of those issues that is going to have to be fixed with the next patch? Thanks!

    @coltsfan017  Custom content chairs broke a couple of patches ago; I'm not sure whether they broke again, or whether some of the newer reports are from people who hadn't tested after the previous patch.  Either way, you'll need to get updated versions of the cc items, or fix your existing ones with a batch fix.  (Check out Sims4Studio for instructions.)

    This issue won't be patched because cc issues don't get addressed.  It's the creators' responsibility to ensure that their content works with the game, not the other way around.
