It’s Very Complicated Relationship Status Stuck

Hello there my fellow simmers. I’m having an issue getting two of my sims to woohoo and/or try for a baby after reconciling. Both their friendship and romance bars are full and they were able to get engaged. Previously, they were married and got divorced after having their son. If you see my screenshot, the “It’s Very Complicated” status remains and I think it may be causing my issue. Unfortunately, I am unable to remove it to test this theory. Any suggestions you all can provide is appreciated. I do not have any mods.

    I think I would take them into CAS and check their preference for dating male or females. That and the type of sim qualities they like in other sims. If they match up it should make them happy to date.

    @romagee1990 Unfortunately i don't know any way to deal with it (i usually struggle with sentiments too) but it would be great if the team added a way to "erase" sentiments, maybe with a self interaction like "Reconsider sentiments" or an aspiration reward potion to erase them like the one for traits/fame/lifestyles.

    Thank you! I followed your suggestion and verified everything was good. They were able to get married and perform other romance interactions, just not woohoo or try for baby. So I used my imagination that one was involved in a car accident, impairing the ability to woohoo but can bond and be intimate in other ways. The “ask for a science baby” option was a great workaround for them to have a child with their DNA.
