Items disappearing from house

I’ve seen a thread about this before, but it didn’t apply to my situation. My sims came back from their wedding and multiple items from their house were missing like a robot vacuum and a computer. I’ve seen people suggest to turn off sharing is caring, but I never had it in my neighborhood. I also don’t have any traits that would make them sell their items?
