Hi, I haven't been able to move past this quest, even though I have upgraded multiple objects, and have read the handiness book multiple times. I haven't found any broken items to repair so have not been able to specifically do so, however, the quest says that upgrading should complete the task.
Any ideas on how to move past this? My sims were already at level 7 for handiness when this quest started.
Have your sim prank the toilet and then use it. The toilet will break and then they can repair it.

Upgrading an item and reading a handiness book is to raise their handiness skill up the required handiness skill level 2, not to complete the taskmagpam A way to make an object to break so that your sim can repair it is to put a stereo outside in the rain. It then will break and your sim can repair it when it isn’t raining.
i'm having a prolem too where my sim has to view art or something at the musium but i can't move past this i have been to the musiun all my sim can do is view
