Jungle Adventure glitch

In the Jungle Adventure when I open the craft tables they are empty. I am not able to get any supplies. The tables look full but when I open them the inventory is blank. I can't explore the jungle without supplies. When I go to the island I do get the free machete and the bug spray. I am able to talk to the vendors and I can purchase the camping supplies like the tent and camp chairs.
