Kid out of nowhere + Progress stuck

Hey :) I have two separate issues I'd love an opinion on/ help with:

The character 'Rory Oaklow' from the Werewolf pack suddenly has a child I did not create even though she is one of the Sims I play with regularly. The child is not even a baby it is a kid and I have no idea where it came from...has anyone experienced something similar? 👣

The other issue I can't solve is that one of my characters, who is a werewolf, too, doesn't get any more accompilshments. The blue bar for her 'werewolf progress' that allows her to get new abilities is stuck in place - wich is filled up - and won't go back to zero aka won't allow her to collect progress points to gain new abilities. Nothing I have tried so far has resolved the issue. Every time she does something that would normally advance her skills (on the blue bar), it just shimmers like she succeeded in collecting a point but it stays in place and no points are collected. 🐺

Thank you for your support💚

  • 2yy6wsto3gzq  Your first issue about a child being added to Rory's household is something that can happen if you have Neighborhood Stories (NS) active and its adoption action selected.  When it happens, the sim added is usually either a new sim or a child that was in a household with another older sim who was killed off by accidental deaths or died of old age.  How it works depends on how you have set your NS settings and your aging settings in Game Options.  So, my suggestion is to check your NS settings in Manage Households and your aging settings in Game Options and adjust them to stop it from happening again if you do like it happening.

Some mods will also cause that game behavior too.  If you use mods, and more specifically MCCC, check your setting there too.  Other mods may also cause it as well.

For your second issue about werewolf progress, the only thing I can think of that may cause that is some sort of mod.  Probably something that affects werewolfs only, or one that changes something with all the occults.  That might include some CC too.  So, if you are a mod user who has been using something like what I mention, you might want to test them to see if removing them from your mods folder will clear the issue up for you.

    Hope this helps.
