Library items corrupted

Wyrmelin Do these new corrupted households have any similarities/commonalities like were they saved around the same time? Did all of the corrupted households come from the same save? Is there a common CC item on all of the affected sims? Have you moved sims in or out of the affected households? If the affected households live on a lot, does their home lot show any sign of corruption? Is it just sims, or are lots affected too?
I notice that all of the corrupted households appear to be Gallery sims. How long have you had them (are they new/old)? Did this issue start recently soon after downloading one or more households from the Gallery?
But, for it to continue happening, I suspect that you have something bigger going on. I suggest you check your save over carefully by visiting at least one lot in every zone in live mode to look for signs of corruption. Running a repair may be helpful. Have you had any saving issues?

Thank you for your answer. I can't find a response to all of these questions because I haven't played a lot these past months, and for all I know some of these households could have been corrupted for a long time before I noticed.

It looks like there are two patterns:
- most of the corrupted cases are occults (aliens, ghosts, vampires, werewolves). Very few corrupted cases are of regular Sims. Not all occults are corrupted though. But lots of them are. For 36 corrupted households found, only 4 of them concern non-occult Sims.
- These households look fine overall. Only individual Sims in these households have an issue: they don't have their individual portrait, and when I click on these, I get an error message telling me this object is corrupted, and offering a choice to delete them.
These guys have been saved during different times.
Did all of the corrupted households come from the same save?
I create all my new Sims on the same save, so a lot of these corrupted Sims do come from it, but not all my corrupted Sims do, and not all of the Sims coming from it are corrupted. It could be an unfortunate circumstance. I understand that regardless of my doubts, I should avoid this save now.
Is there a common CC item on all of the affected sims?
No, the majority of the corrupted households are devoid of any CC.
Have you moved sims in or out of the affected households?

I haven't played them in a while to be honest. Most of these guys are background characters. When I see them in game, they behave like normal Sims.

Yes. I collect premade Sims, so a considerable portion of my corrupted households do come from the gallery (I download all the premade Sims of the gallery page of Maxis). I also have some households uploaded by players. The majority of the corrupted cases of gallery households concern occults (aliens, vampires, ghosts, werewolves)

It ranges between 2025 and 2021.

The good news, I suppose, is I can still load these corrupted households in CAS to re-save them. But, is it okay to do so?
Wyrmelin Yeah, you are probably better off abandoning the save and that Library. Something just isn't right there. Since most of the sims are Gallery sims, you should be able to find and replace them.
On trying to resave the corrupted sims. I've tried that but it didn't work for me. They were still corrupted. I could save them, but I couldn't place them in a save. Same with corrupted lots. You can try though if you want. You might get lucky and salvage some of them. One thing you can do if you use MCCC, is to leave the corrupted sims in the Library, then copy their appearance, physique, etc. from them to new sims in game. You might be able to copy other things like skills too, but I've only done it for the appearance so idk what other things can be copied or how those work.
