(Mac) Platform issues

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.154.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions All game packs besides the Star Wars pack and strangerville Stuff packs I have - nifty knitting, tiny living, my first pet stuff, laundry day, toddler stuff, fitness stuff, backyard, romantic garden, cool kitchen stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to make a room with angled sides and a square platform in middle and can’t put platforms into the room without it bugging out and not making the house a room without deleting the platforms itself. Another issue is where I add platforms up and up with stairs leading up to a closed room and try to add platforms inside the house as well and it crashes .
What happens when the bug occurs? Oops I explained it above
What do you expect to see? 1. I hoped to have platforms be as customizable as possible, wish there was a create a platform tool. 2. I expected to be able to have platforms below a room and be able to add platforms inside as well.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

    There is a platform tool similar to the wall tool so you can draw the platform;

    Could you post a screenshot of the room you're trying to make? Before you add the platform and it glitches and afterwards.

    I cannot repro the crashing you're experiencing. Maybe that is a non-platform/stairs related crash?
