I'm playing on my PC thru windows. And yes I've searched everything that's available on the web, and wiping files seems to be the last level of enforcement that i can find.
@OEP0623 What were your results when testing other families ? Have you narrowed down if it's the family or the lot that causes issues ?
The flashes were on the new save, right ? Did you have them on the old save too ?

In the new save the game runs fine except the screen flashes' and lags and makes it unplayable. And in the original save the only way i can switch households if the household im playing meets with another sim, and i use cheats to force play as their household. and when i do that i still cannot load into manage worlds.

For your current save: When you use the load button to load your game are you not taken to manage world ? Does that get stuck on loading as well or only if you choose resume ?
If you can do that, can you load another family from the map ?
