Missing two weeks worth of gameplay

Hello, yesterday I went to play the sims 4 but two weeks of saved game was missing, and I can't get it back because the EA folder only recognizes the last time the game remembers me playing which (9/24) but the last time I played was October 3. I woke again today and noticed that they even added old legacy house hold that I had to delete. Can someone help me get back the two weeks old file.

You might be able to find a later save if you try to recover a save.  To do that, first, make a copy of your saves folder and put it somewhere safe.  Then start the game and open the Load option on the Main Menu.  Select the save at the top then mouse over to the right.  You should see a recover button next to the delete button.  Click it and follow the prompts to recover a save.  You might get an error messageIf there are multiple save options, choose the top one and recover it.  Check it in game to see if it works and see if it is the last save you remember. If not, then you're probably out of luck as that save should be the latest one.  But you can keep trying with other saves if you choose to to make sure you've found the latest good save that you have.

    Hope this helps.
