I'd like to see sims have some illness, doesn't need to be any specific illness in real life though. Just some simple illness and make the sims unable to go outside, unable to perform certain actions, etc.
As for Religion, I don't think they need to include real-life religion. The Sims 4 Team can create a fictional religion that only exists in The Sims world (for examples, Yoba the ancient guardian deity in Stardew Valley games). By this way, The Sims 4 Team can avoid any problem and no one will fight or argue in the forum since the religion is fictional and unspecific. I'd like to see Religious and Atheist traits.
Create Your Own World seems fun to me. But I don't know how much work needed to make that happen.
I wished to see cars, but then I realize the world isn't open like The Sims 3. We won't be able to see sims driving around. But nevermind, I still expect to have real cars (not a toy cars, scaled bigger and then put on the lots) in the Buy Mode.
More color is always a big YES!
I've seen many ask for Farming Packs. Hope this happens, it will be fun to see close-to-nature gameplay.
I think they already working on this. I can't go to the Youtube comment section without reading a comment requesting University packs.
@AndyZhang2896, I'm guessing that either you don't have the Get to Work EP, or that the illnesses in that pack aren't challenging enough for you. The Original Poster wanted handicaps and diseases, though, not illnesses. But you are correct in that our current illnesses don't really restrict you from doing anything (you still can go to work or school) unless you have too many other negative moodlets.
I do like your idea for a vague made-up religion, so nobody gets offended. 🙂 Perhaps this is what the OP @Deborah21081987 had in mind, but she hasn't replied back, and I just assumed she meant real religions. 🤔
I do wish they would have the Creat A World since so many people want more worlds in their game. We had that in TS3, and I thought it was hard to use. I'm sure if I had instruction I would have liked it better.😳 But I know a great many people loved it! :eahigh_file:
I wouldn't mind nicer looking cars for our driveways. I'm just afraid that even with non-functional cars most people would be really angry. 😞 You and I would be satisfied, but Twitter would go haywire with outrage that the cars were non-functional! 🤨 TS2 had cars that our Sims would get in and pull in and out of the driveway. The car would then disappear and you'd get a loading screen and show up wherever you selected to travel to. I think you could also woohoo in them. I know you could fix them up and resell them ! They had that aspect in TS3 as well! In TS3 the cars would travel through the world , but the Sims would teleport into and out of the cars! It was kind of weird! 😃
Well, they might be working on a Farming pack.. I really hope they plan on doing one! But just because people are talking about it in the YouTube comment section doesn't mean that EA is planning on doing it. People are also talking about how they wish they would bring back open worlds,. cars, the CASt color/pattern wheel, babies that aren't objects, pre-teens, etc., but most of those will never be brought into TS4. However, there is always a chance that EA will hear and see these requests , and what they can't do in TS4, they might put into TS5, if they make a TS5! 🤞🥳
Finally, one of the Sim Gurus Tweeted a teaser that we might be getting a new staircase type! (Most likely spiral). :eahigh_file: This was asked because spiral stairs seem like they would go great with a Magic pack, which we are getting in a few weeks with The Realm of Magic Game Pack!
@MsSamLStory, The Sims 2 is my favorite version of the Sims!!! ❤️ It was fantastic for stroytellers and had phenomenal gameplay!🥳 Each Sim would collect both good and bad memories and you would have memory markers in their information panels that you could reference. You could also compile your pictures from your game and put it on your Sim page and make like a story book for others to read! I had so much fun with this! The gameplay also focused more on events and would have these cutscenes for things like a first kiss or a baby being born! :eahigh_file:
But, even if they were to add a feature like this, I don't think it would be anywhere near as good as the TS2 gaming experience was. But since you never played TS2, you would have noting to compare it to! 😇 I think this would be a step in the right direction.🥳 However, since many of us have been playing TS4 since it came out 5 years ago, I'd rather them have done this sooner as many of our most played families wont' be able to have their memories recorded. 😢 Still, I would enjoy something like this. ❤️
Finally, I don't think it is a good idea to encourage people to "spam" EA with suggestions. Hi @MsSamLStory I realize Mods are not for 'everyone' but just thought I'd mention, that the mod MCCC allows for what you're mentioning, (stories) mods, if kept up to date for your game (and you may only need a few) are not difficult to maintain, the MCCC, for example, is kept up to date, and here are some tips on maintaining your game with mods and cc, if you do choose to use a few of them. Zerbu also has something called 'Experiences' that I used to use.

- A Private Practice Mod, (also has a current update) by SimRealist
- There are also various mods/cc for farming available, like fruit/veg stalls, by Alex Croft @ ModTheSims (functional Grocery Sets) and at TSR soloriya makes a lot of amazing Rustic Style food/produce stands and items. Also, farm animals (static) I think, but are available to 'sell' and made by Kawaiistacie. ('my first Animal Farm')
- A Get to College mod, and a Go to School mod (they are not compatible together though, if you choose one, stick to just one)

I have no connection to EA@Sashas0nic I use mods and I love them dearly. However, the mods you mentioned aren’t exactly what I meant, but it’s ok. (I might still use them though, because my sims themselves deserve memories) I don’t think I would use that ‘Memories Patch’ I was referring to myself hence the part of my original post about “Being God of a virtual world”, I actually quite enjoy creating the stories myself and seeing how other sims in other universes have different stories such as Darling Welsh, from City Living, is a great example.
Her story changes from simmer to simmer, in some she’s cis gendered, trans, non-binary. Some people make her and her roommates cousins, some say she’s a social worker that took Darling in. I LOVE THAT! I love the changing stories and how anyone can create a different story for the same character.
Also, I forgot who asked for it, but university....Why not have it as a Get to Work add on? Like, I can see EA, or a talented modder, having University be a part of their “jobs” menu and give simmer’s the option of going with the sim to “work” (University) or just sending their sim off. As for how to pick majors, maybe have a list of “Jobs” as different Majors and your sim can earn skill points according to which major chosen (There’s a better schools mod that does this for elementary and high school). Also when you “Graduate” and you receive a degree you get a trait called “Graduate” which can function like the “Connections” trait that gives you jobs at higher levels.

You could always change your post to encourage people to just make a suggestion to EA. 😇 Even if you didn't really mean for people to spam EA or others, some people could take it the wrong way, and nobody would want that to happen! 😞

A lot of people on the sims group would like to have a farm pakkage for the sims 4.
With:
-farming,
-milking cows,
-collect eggs,
-horseriding,
-sheep's for wool and
-barns.
And maybe also things you can do with the wool, spinning the wool and make your own clothes. Making cheese and butter with the milk. Plowing your land with a tractor or a workinghorse. Bigger plots to harvest more vegetables or potatoes.
@PugLove888 I don't own Get to Work and I don't want it. Because it contains one thing that I hate so much, aliens. I hate occult, especially from what I heard, aliens sometimes kidnap a sims and there's a chance they get pregnant. It's a big NO from me.
Yeah, pretty sure many people will say "This is not what we ask, we want FUNCTIONAL cars!". But even if it can be driven, I think it is pretty pointless. When we can travel around the world by pressing 'M' then choose a destination, why wasting time for walking to the car, get into a car, then waiting for the cars going into loading scene. Such a waste of time. But I don't mean I like the idea of pressing 'M' to travel around, it feels unrealistic. I prefer something like The Sims 3.
If EA wants to make a car that can be driven around, the world should be open, without loading scene traveling from neighborhood to another neighborhood.
Yeah, it's impossible to realize everyone's wish. There are too many requests. But important things that TS1, TS2, and TS3 have, I expect it to present in The Sims 4 too. What I feel now is some content gets removed in TS4, for examples, TS3 Island Paradise have Resort Lot Assignment but we don't have it in TS4. I really hope they bring it back. (Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm new to The Sims game. Beside TS4, I only have TS3 Base Game without EP, never played TS1 nor 2).

There's probably an update coming before Realm of Magic released. I hope it's an update with spiral stair for the base game (modern style, classic style, etc). Then the Realm of Magic will include magic-themed spiral stair. It will be sad if you need to purchase RoM just to get spiral stair. But I don't think they will do something cruel like this LOL

@AndyZhang2896, what "babies that aren't objects" means that people want babies that Sims can carry around , like real babies.❤️ People want babies that they can walk around the living room with, carry up or downstairs, hand off to another Sim, and maybe even take for a walk in a stroller! As babies are now, they are tied to their bassinets. All interactions are done in front of the bassinets and in fact, to do anything with the baby you don't click on the baby, you click on the bassinet! 🤨
I understand about not wanting Get to Work because of Aliens. There are a lot of people who don't like supernatural aspects in their game. (Although, technically the Sims that are abducted and end up pregnant are really just supposed to be surrogates for the resulting child since the baby ends up being full Alien and not half Alien/half Human. But still, that isn't exactly comforting either! 😮😞) I only mentioned Get to Work because you mentioned that the Sims 4 needed illnesses, and that is the pack that has them.😉. EA probably won't be adding any more illnesses that are like our real-life ones since Get to Work already has them.☹️ (The exception is the Rabid Rodent illness that comes with My First Pets Stuff Pack, but that is more of a big event, and not at all like the illnesses in Get to Work. )
Funny, I never press "M" to travel! I always use the scroll wheel on my mouse to widen the view until the travel symbol shows up and then click on that! 😃 I totally forgot that we could use "M"!😳
EA has stated that TS4 will not get an open world. It was built on a totally different engine than TS3 was. I think it would take so much work that they would just have completely redo the game,😞 in which case they might as well create The Sims 5! 🤨 So, sadly I don't think you would end up liking the cars they would add if they ever add them to the game. 😢 I don't mind the loading screens since they only take 30 seconds to 2 miniutes at the most. The open world of TS3 caused the game to go so slow that it would eventually grind to a complete stop! 😠😞 It would take 10 or more miniutes for the game to unfreeze, but sometimes it would be permanently stuck unless I shut down the game and rebooted.... which would take another 15 -30 min to shut down and then another 20 minutes (at least) to start up again, and then the game would still be incredibly laggy! 😬 So maybe, after all that , my Sims would reach their destination an hour later in real life, as opposed to the 2 minutes maximum that it takes in TS4! 😃 If we have to go through this again then I don't want an open world. An open world is pointless if we cant' play the game! 😞 They say that due to our computers being better today than they were when TS3 was the current game, that TS3 runs better than it ever did back when it was the current Sims version. If that is the case then that would be OK!🙂 But that still doesn't' solve the problem of TS3 having a bunch of lots with no Sims on them. I would always try to send my Sims out to a park or some other venue, but no other Sims would be on the lot by the time I got there and they would usually never show up!☹️ They all were elsewhere in the giant open world. 😕 At least with TS4 when my Sims go to a venue there are always other Sims there, or they arrive almost immediately after my Sims get there! :eahigh_file:
Yes! You are correct in that TS3 Island Paradise EP had resorts you could vacation at or even own!🥳 But it took soooooo long for the Island Paradise to load (one of the few times you would find a loading screen while playing TS3) that I usually didn't have my Sims travel there too often! 😢
TS2 was by far the best version of the Sims for playability and gameplay! ❤️🥳 TS3 had a lot of fantastic ideas, but they didn't work , or if they did work , the game itself didn't work! The gameplay in TS2 was deep. I would play for hours and hours and never get bored. TS3 I just yelled at all the time. TS4 is somewhere in the middle. TS1 was so different, since your Sims didn't age. It was static, but very charming! ❤️

I agree with your assessment on spiral stairs. If we interpret what Sim Guru Romeo stated correctly, then I think that spiral stairs will be introduced in a patch before Realm of Magic is released, and that Realm of Magic will have a more "magical" looking version. 😉 This is what they usually do with new features like this. They did similar things with Gardening in the patch right before Seasons, and with the glass roofs as well! ❤️ I can't see them only having spiral stairs in Realm of Magic , since they know that some players won't buy it due to its theme, much like yourself!

@PugLove888 Woah, thats true! I just remember it lol. That will be a nice update, a lot of people ask that in the comment section of the Youtube video I attached before. But so far, it doesn't annoy me so much and that isn't on my top wishlist tho.
Get to Work seems like a very nice expansion pack with the active career. Some Build/Buy objects also quite interesting. But an Alien that can pregnant a sims is a biggest NOPE 😂. I do hope there's an option to turn off/on supernatural things.
Yeah, major things like making TS4 become open world is impossible now. There's too much to do. And by making it open world, developers need to model every single things in the world, mountains, terrains, apartment in San Myshuno, all those 2D images need to be 3D object in open world. And I can't imagine how laggy it is with so many apartment.
To avoid lag, developer are forced to make the city less crowded, less skycrapper and that means, less beautiful and vibrant the San Myshuno become.
Oh, I will still be happy with cars even it can't be driven around like TS3. One thing I LOVE in this game is building! I enjoy building so much. I will be very glad to add some cars to my build. I hate using toy cars and resize it bigger because toy cars object are less detailed and making it bigger just like making it worse.
Wow! 30 seconds to 2 minutes seems long. Mine only 10-15 seconds loading screen. But if I open Gallery too many times, later the game can't be closed and it will require force shutdown.
Don't get me wrong lol 😂. While I hate occult/supernatural so much, I'm okay with mermaid and magic-themed. It's funny that I believe in life exist outside this planet, But I hate to see alien in The Sims game, I think the biggest turn off is alien can kidnap and pregnant other sims. I also hate Vampire because I heard they may show up in your door and try to convert you (not sure what they mean, convert to vampire?).
As long as alien & vampire didn't show up outside their world (Sixam & Forgotten Hollow), wizard & witches didn't mess other worlds, I'm okay with it.
