@SqueamishNerd, interesting about the personalities.😎 I , of course, only have the pictures to go on, so thank you for adding the info on Erin's personality.:eahigh_file: (The artist's render on the left top looks a lot more like Eva in the face than the Sim on the right. bottom. But they have the same outfit and jewelry as each other, which is also the same outfit and jewelry for Eva. ) I still think that Erin was the prototype for Eva, but it could also be that 2 different people came up with these 2 Sims, and they just decided that they had too similar of a look and Eva won out. 🤔
You'd be surprised at how characters develop from initial concept to final product. I just saw a video about the original Toy Story script and how Woody was originally to be a villain! 😮 But they saw that this wouldn't work so they changed the script.😇
Also, in the old TV show The Brady Bunch, the producers had 2 sets of kids, 2 versions of the mom, Carol, and 2 versions of the maid Alice. (They I think they might have had 2 possibilities for the dad also, but I can't remember. The big debate was the adult female roles) They didn't know if they wanted the funny one to be the mom or the maid. So depending on whether the mom or the maid was to the funny one, they would have cast different actresses for the parts... but depending on which actress would play the mom, the children would have to be changed because one actress had blonde hair and the other was brunette. So the alternate kids that could have been used would have had the girls being brunette and the boys being blonde. 🤨😃 The show would have been totally different! And that would mean that up to 18 different actresses and actors were waiting to find out if they got the part , all because they weren't sure which woman they wanted to be the comedic one!
Finally, in the movie The Wizard of Oz, they were going to cast the Wicked Witch of the West with a totally different actress, and have her be a glamourous witch , more like the one in Snow White. The actress would not have been in green makeup, would have had glamorous makeup and wear a sequined cowl, snood and hat! But thankfully they decided against that, as Margaret Hamilton is excellent in the role! (Dorothy was also going to be blonde, but they gave her auburn locks which really showed off the new color film technology at the time! :eahigh_file: )
Those are just 3 examples of how a character's look or personality can change from concept to final product. Even if this isn't what happened with Eva and Erin, you can certainly see this as a possibility! 😉

@SqueamishNerd, thank you for the trailer... very interesting.. I also saw a lot of Sims who never made it into the game or in the Gallery! 🤨 Like the girl (I'm guessing a teen but she could be a young adult) who was in the Avant Guards that had the headphones around her neck and a hat on. 🤔
But I still think Erin became Eva.🙂 I think they liked the outfit and look, but realized that the outfit worked more for a partier than a free spirit. I think they kept the look and ditched the personality, then made a few tweaks. Because if they didn't , then they would have had two Sims in the same outfit and jewelry with the same skin, eye, and hair color, in almost the same hairstyle be in two different clubs. 🤭

@PugLove888I took a quick look at Erin’s and Eva’s jewellery, they don’t have the same jewellery. Eva has earrings, Erin has not, they have different necklaces, bracelets and rings. So, I think two different simgurus made Eva and Erin, they both appear in trailers, but it’s odd that Erin ended up on the render but only Eva ended up in the game. 🤔 They could’ve been siblings or something. 🙃
