Moving my game to a new laptop
I'm getting a new laptop next week and I was wondering what file I have to transfer to keep my game the same?
bulldogblingYour user files are in Documents->Electronic Arts->The Sims 4. You'll definitely want the saves folder and the Tray folder (Tray is the contents of your library). Transfer Screenshots to make sure any photos/paint from reference are preserved. Other than that, I don't think anything else is critical - maybe the .ini files and clientDB.package to be safe. And of course make sure to log into the same EA account to be able to redownload any packs you've bought.
(And if you use mods or custom music, you will of course need to transfer those too)
