Hi...I've done this and now the parents disappear from the family tree unless that sim has a sibling that still stays with the parent. Is there a fix for this? Is there anyone else having this issue??

Welcome to the forums!
I would like to make sure I understand the situation correctly: you had a Sim and their two parents living in a house, with no other Sims, right? Then you splitted the family using Manage households and placed the Sim in a new house. When you loaded the house to play with them, their parents didn't appear in their family tree. Is this correct?
Could you tell us the age of each of the three Sims? Also, did you create the three Sims using CAS or the child was born in-game?
Thank you!

- 8 years agoOriginally there were 3 sims...created in CAS. The parents (young adults) and a teen. The parents had 2 more children...in game. When I moved out the oldest child they were a young adult. The eldest child lost the parents in the family tree. The siblings were still there so that’s the only way I’m able to see a connection to them (to parents). It’s happened with all sims I’ve moved out using the manage household tool.
