My child sim will not do anything

My child sim will not listen to any commands I tell her to do outside of the kitchen area. She can eat and clean dishes but she will not use the bathroom, go to bed, or shower.  I also can’t  cook in the kitchen as any adult sims. I think she is in the way of the stove? But not sure if that’s the case or it is another issue. I have tried to re set her many times also. Nothing. Is working and I’m stuck
