My Color Icons In Cas Are Gray!

@annaswims356, thanks for including pictures! 🙂 They were helpful!  From the amount of little boxes you have to choose from, I'm guessing that you play with Custom Content (CC) / Mods.  If this is the case, then you might have some broken CC/Mods that are causing the problem. 🤨

You will have to temporarily remove your Mods folder to your desktop and  Delete the localthumbcashe.package file in the game folder.

Then go into Origin and in your Library right click on TS4 and then click on the option to "Repair Game". (Wait until Origin fixes all of your packs and not just the Base Game.

After this, when you turn on your game again, it will create a new mods folder that is now empty.  From here you can check your game to see if taking all your Mods out helped.  Keep in mind that the Mod that causes a problem might not seemingly be related to the problem you are having, which is why it is best to test your game without any of your Mods or CC! 🤨   

To add back your Mods and find which still work, you can try the 50/50 Method :

This is better explained in the Spoilers section of the link above.  I don't use Mods/CC because the upkeep is too much for me (I'm lazy! 😳 )  But the person who wrote the link has over 1000 Mods/CC so she knows what she's talking about, even if she's hasn't been around in a while. 😎

I dunno if its worth all that. I can still use my cc and colors its just annoying, idk if its worth deleting and moving things, its just a lil bug that I thought maybe could be fixed easily.

@annaswims356, I totally understand!  If the bug is just a minor inconvenience, then it wouldn't' be worth all that trouble! 🤨  Just keep in mind that every time EA updates the game with a patch, there are more and more chances for Mods/CC to become broken.😞  For now the problem is minor, but in the future you still might have to do this kind of maintenance if the problem is much worse!  🤨  I'm much to lazy to be bothered with this kind of upkeep, so I just do without Mods/CC. 😳😃

Most good Modders will update the Mods they create to keep up with EA's updates.   I would always check with the creators of your CC and Mods to make sure you have the most up-to-date version!  They should be willing to help you with that!  😇
