My Female Sim didn't change her last name after she got Married

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.70.84.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them except paranormal, laundry, tiny, realms of magic, vampire, eco, cats n dogs, pet stuff, and get famous.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When my female doesn't change her surname after she gets married.
What happens when the bug occurs? After a male sim and my female sim ties a knot, her last name remains the same.
What do you expect to see? Once my female sim marries to a male sim, her last name should be changed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Please help me solve this issue. It is another annoying. Thank you!

@my_immortal88 Are you using MCCC ? I think you can do it with that. There might be other mods.

It does look like I was wrong though. It was always like this. Found this article from when the game came out: https://www.platinumsimmers.com/articles/changing-name-in-the-sims-4/ .. the thing they changed was actually that you don't need the fulleditcas cheat anymore to change it.

You can of course post here as feedback that you want this changed (and many will agree with you) but just saying this isn't a bug.

@my_immortal88 this isn't really a bug - not every woman everywhere changes her name when she gets married. if you go into create-a-sim (maybe with the cas.fulleditmode cheat enabled), you should be able to change your sim's name manually.

@my_immortal88 That was change a long time ago. As @SerenaBeanie says, that's not a bug and has been the case since 2015 or so.

@crinrict Hello, I noticed some female sims that I had them married automatically changed their last names. And the recently I just got a bit of surprised that didn't change their last names. I really hate others reply to my posts, especially who disagreed with me. Thank you anyway!
