Sent my sim and her 2 cats to the vet. First problem was no vets there. Used the machine to buy wellness treats.
Now I can't get them home. "go home" is grayed out and also grayed out on the phone (travel).
Anybody have any fix it suggestions?

Does it give you any tool tip why you it's greyed out ?
What platform are you playing on and any mods/cc ?
I don't know what platform I'm on. No - no tool tip. Yes I have mods. I looked at that link and it looks like its a reply to someone who created their own shop / shopping center. I'm going to a a vet that's already been created by Sims 4.
Got another problem - Can't get back to "manage worlds" - that's already grayed out. When I press the gray "go home" it says "Sim can't travel because there is a social event going on."
Hi... This are happening with my game too!! :(
Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
Are you on Windows or Mac ?
Jan, I've just had this exact issue. If you click the 'x' button by the event at the top left corner of your screen, it will allow you to end the event and go home.
