@kat211123 Yes it's an annoying fact that you can't sell all of the knitted items in a store. I do sell the knitted toys and decor in a children's store and in a gift shop. But my Sims get the bored moodlet when I want them to get busy stocking their retail lot. I also spent days knitting all of the hanging pot holders...only to find that for some daft reason you can't sell them in a store either! So I'd wasted my time.
The next time I did it though, I used my Wiccan. So if you have Realm of Magic you can use the Copypasto spell to save time by copying your creations to stock a store when the Bored moodlet starts. She just stops knitting and starts zapping. You can also use the cloning machine. It does mean you can't automatically restock them though (you get an ash pile) so you have to nip back and manually replace sold items, but I don't mind that.
As for selling on Plopsy, I find that rarely works anyway. Stuff of high quality sits there in the inventory for days unsold.
With selling any clothing there's an added problem of Mannequins. They were fixing the crashing linked to Mannequins recently but my stores still freeze if I use more than about 2, so I don't touch them.
So the combined issues with knitting and retail can really get in your way.
