This problem came back with the new patch. I don't have script mods enabled, so nothing should be causing this. I just had a sim move out for college with 14,032 exactly, and when i got to move him in it says he has 0, so unless I move him into an existing household I can't move him in at all. I haven't checked if his personal inventory had anything taken yet. A similar thing happened earlier in the playthrough where his family moved and lost all of their money so I had to guestimate how much they had with cheats.
