My Sim moved and lost inventory and household funds

I am trying to play through a Super Sim, get all the aspirations and career rewards. My single sim household moved from Windenburg to Evergreen Harbor and lost everything. Over 500,00 simoleons, all my fridge inventory (which has always moved with me on previous saves), and quite a few things from Household Inventory. I have never seen this happen before, my save is first generation and this was their first move, so why did I bug out? I am so mad this bug turned up on this playthrough. Before this, I had the buggiest multi generation playthrough. I have been reloading and repairing my 12 generation family for too long to admit. So, I left and thought this challenge would be less buggy.

This bug is back. Script mods are disabled entirely; the only CC is entirely cosmetic, so there's no reason it should be causing something related to the Sims script. This has happened twice. Once, when the entire household moved lots, and now with their son trying to move out for university and having his money effectively wiped as soon as I was in manage worlds. It is unacceptable that a bug from 8 months ago is not only back, but happening regularly.

That's what should be happening, but that's not what is happening. What's happening is we are going through this exact process, and then when we hit the manage worlds screen to move the sims out, the money vanishes. I used the interaction, not through the phone but through the University Pack. One of the explicit options in the pack is to move off campus, illustrated by an image of a sim moving out. If you cannot fix this function within the expansion pack, you need to disclose that this feature that we paid for does not work.
