My Sim moved and lost inventory and household funds

I am having this issue, and it's hard because it makes me not want to play. 

Basically, I have a family at the Caldera Camp lot. They have a house and a couple items in their inventory. 

I've tried moving by using the phone, moving household a few times, but this picture is from moving them on the world view to another lot (the abandoned ship). I clearly mark "keep furniture".

Notice the picture says remaining funds: 1227. When we get to the new lot, all their stuff and money is gone (sometimes when i try this, i actually have maximum money instead). 

I do not split/merge the family. 

As far as mods go, they are currently turned off, but I also had this happen when they were turned on. 

If I cannot move a family without losing everything (or worse, i have to tediously return all their possessions to the family inventory), then it means I really cannot move at all, which makes me feel like I can't really play.

Tchelle​ That is how the game works.   Sims in the Gallery or Library do not have neither a personal nor household inventory.

MY sim's inventory disappeared when I moved her from my Library!!!! They even took away her diploma! I'm using Xbox One. I can't use mods or cc's, so what is the problem?!?! She will lose so many valuable things she's found and won, and gained!

crinrict​ Yeah it is happening with the move option on the phone. not with split and merge, I never or rarely use that. I use that if I want to move an individual sim from a household as split from household hasn't worked for me for quite a while.

The household inventory is tied to a household and not a a Sim.

So if you move into a new household (either by creating a new empty one or by moving into someone else's household, you loose the inventory.

There should be no issues if you use the move interaction on the phone but as soon as you use the household one, you need to pay attention what you do

So the left hand side (1) is what's keeping the current inventory. The right hand side (2) either has the inventory of the Sim your moving into or none if create a new household.

Was this a one time problem or do you still have issues with this happening ?

No mods, both residential lots, I had issues with Household Inventory (I do not remember what I chose for keeping furniture), one person household to one person household, just moved

crinrict​ Hi I also have had this problem from before even lovestruck update. When I moved houses even though I had put all the things in my household inventory I wanted to take with me, I lost all the items. I put these items in my household inventory because I thought maybe that would stop the fact that when I move I use keep furniture, but when I moved I had nothing from my old house in my inventory. This has happened when I moved into a new empty house and when I moved in with another sim. Quite often when I build a new house for my sims to move into a townie sim will move in before I can. lol. I tried this with and without mods.

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• Did you move to/from a residential rental or were both residential lots ?
• Did you also have issues with keep furniture ?
• Did you move the whole family or split them out ?
• Did you merge into a new household or just move ?
