My Sims Cannot cook anything!!
Is anyone else having this problem. I click on the stove to cook and the menu will not come up. I click on the fridge and the same thing. Plus I cannot view items in my fridge?

If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I just started a new save on my new laptop and all of a sudden my Sim cannot cook or even access the fridge. I cant even grab left over food from the fridge. I have to drag the food out in order to access it. There is nothing in the way, I changed multiple firdges, theres plenty of counter space, I even removed all of my mods. Im not sure what else to do or what the problem is? Has anyone dealt with this before or a current bug?

I am too and trying to figure out what's happening. So far I've tried everything.
You don't need to post multiple times in different forums. I've merged all your posts into this post from another user with the same issue that you had already replied to.
I suggest you both try a clean Sims 4 folder by renaming the current one in Documents > Electronic Arts and seeing if it happens in a completely new clean vanilla game.
It was my first time posting so im not sorry for posting in more than one forum. Thanks for the advice.

TheBananaKing19 I am so sorry for not remembering to post what I did to fix it...lol. I had to literally remove over 700 food related package files from my mods folder to figure out which file was giving me so much grief. It turned out to be QmBibi's Recipes to which I ended up removing all of their food related content. By the time I had reached the Q's, I was way too frustrated to pin it down to only one so I removed all of theirs. :(
I'll just add here that for support for some creators, you need to go straight to them. Not all creators' mods are supported here.
