My Sims have gotten stuck in rooms and rivers

After creating a house for Adventure Awaits, I plopped it and the corresponding sim into my latest save. When playing as my main sim and having a getaway at said house(as I made it as a Bed and Breakfast), they got stuck in one of the bedrooms, and I couldn't even teleport them out until I reloaded the lot. Later I switched to the new sim and got stuck in the nearby river. Teleportation did work, but she immediately went back into the water, as one of my solutions was to wade to a certain point, and now she's stuck in the wade area, swimming. All this happened in Gibbi Point.
