My Sims keep getting pregnant!

Help! My Sims keep getting pregnant without me knowing and I don’t know how to stop it.😩 When I started the game and selected 1 of my households, I noticed my Sim had a newborn (Boy) and obviously, the computer named the baby because I sure as hell didn’t, 🤦‍♀️ I was unaware she was even pregnant as I was playing in her sisters household beforehand. Baring in mind, she already had an infant at the time who’s now a toddler. I then found out, she had another baby on the way (Girl) after given birth to her son…I was perplexed at this point??😳 Altogether she has 3 children. I decided to monitor her, incase she tried to conceive again because this has never happened to me before, during my gameplay. I didn’t use the ‘fertile’ trait on her or give her a ‘fertility massage’ etc, so I can’t comprehend this at all but everything was fine, minus the crying/screaming of the newborns every 5 seconds!! (So stressful) Afterwards, I went back to her sisters household, to find out SHE’S having a baby too?! 😑 and she already has a toddler and a infant plus, she lives with her partner and their kids in her mothers house with her partner and their son, so you can imagine how cramped and awkward it is in a 3 bedroom house. (She’s already in her second tri) My Sim (the older sister) is at work in the Scientist career, 6 months pregnant…gets a message from her baby sister (from earlier) that she’s expecting again and I just want to collapse. I need some help ASAP 😭 I can’t keep going back and forth between these households whenever 1 of them gets pregnant this must be a glitch or something…

In addition to what @Gagea25 has asked, are you using any mods that might affect pregnancies?  Depending on your settings and which modules you use, MCCC can cause that if the inactive household is marked as unplayed in either tab of Manage Households.  If you keep the household marked as played though, it generally doesn't happen.  There are other mods that can cause autonomous pregnancies too for both played and unplayed households.

    Hope this helps.
