There is an issue with stairs in residential rentals. Sometimes, they become unusable for some reason. The way to fix it to replace the stairs with the build installed on a lot. Usually, it's just the stairs within an apartment and not the stairs in shared space.

I still can't get the stairs to work, so I ended up just putting a ladder. But, I don't know how much longer I can tolerate this.
