I have the reclaimed wood working table. I'm handiness level 10. I can't find the option to create the reclaimed wood dining chairs from my wood working table. I have no mods.

Read an article on gamerant - they gave a tip that if you can't see the chair in the options, you have to claim the reward, which is the chair.
This is what I hate about this game. It’s NOT fun to spend 2 hours trying to clear this one quest. I have the chair recipe. It’s claimed and everything. I’ve done the entire quest. I’ve restarted my game over and over. It won’t acknowledge that my Sim and her spouse have made 7 reclaimed dining chairs, each. EA this is supposed to be a game. This is supposed to be fun. No rewards are worth the misery that you put your players through.
I have the same problem, but the game won't let me claim the chair and says I'm not connected to the internet (the console is perfectly connected and has a good signal) What can I do?

same here... even tried playing with other households but no chance
So my sim has level 8 handiness, but the option to craft the wooden throne is not available even though the description states its under "craft furniture". Anyone else having this issue?
Yes, solved by leveling up handiness more.
Make sure you claimed the item in the event before you try to craft it. The event prompts aren’t very clear about that, and I spent a long time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.
I'm also having issues with this event. I'm playing on laptop with no mods or cc and my sim is level 10 in handiness but the craft the wooden throne option does not come up on the woodworking table so I cannot complete the event.
You have to complete the second part of the stuff like go to the park etc. to then be able to "craft the wooden throne". I had this happen to me and even with a level 10 handiness it was the bottom part below the "craft wooden throne" that I had to complete for this to be unlocked on the wood working table for me. If I am remembering correctly it was something to do with going to a park or etc. that unlocked it for me. Hope this helps.
