I have the reclaimed wood working table. I'm handiness level 10. I can't find the option to create the reclaimed wood dining chairs from my wood working table. I have no mods.

Read an article on gamerant - they gave a tip that if you can't see the chair in the options, you have to claim the reward, which is the chair.

I have the same issue - two separate save files, two Sims who both have level 10 Handiness and the Wooden Throne item bubble doesn't appear. I've tried using different woodworking tables to see if the option pops up, but it hasn't.
EA has corrected the bug. yes I did all the current quests et gathered all the gifts. it s not my first quest, i'm used to it. But I was blocked this time because no "throne choice" showed up when I tried to make it". I waited 3 days and then I was able to make the throne and get it as a gift after an EA update. ;-)
No wonder I couldn't get past this step, who would have dreamed you would need to claim something before you built it, they should have called it the Wooden Throne Kit or something that would have made it make more sense, LOL.
There's also a Wooden Toilet which adds another layer of confusion, I though throne was just being used as a euphemism to be clever and built 3 of those trying to get past this step.

I've been trying to finish since Echoes from the Cave part came out. I tried on 3 characters who are at Handiness level 10, have read all the handiness skill books, no mods and on PC, and I am still 5 ep short of the Wooden Throne. I've doublechecked earlier things and they are all claimed. Last thing I got was Touch Grass Weekly #3. No matter what I do or what character I switch to, I'm still stuck and it says I'm 5 ep short of being able to make the Wooden Throne, and the stuck quest prompt says that it requires handiness. It doesn't even show up on my furnishings to create at the work bench (it just says 'toilet')! I really don't like timed events, something goes wrong each time, and now it's so off the rails there's only 5 days left and I can't even complete it to get the sandals I wanted to get. 😩
I have two attached screencaps so hopefully Devs can see what's going on. I just updated the game today, 7/30.
You need to do other tasks so that you can get the needed points, then you need to claim the wooden throne, before it will show on the woodworking table that it can be crafted.

I just updated the game today, 7/30, and it's still the same, still locked out because of 5ep.
I've done the other tasks. Look at pics and tell me what task I did not do, because it's showing I've done everything up to the 'wooden throne' which won't appear because somewhere I can't find the 5 ep that I need to unlock the recipe. I've read articles, including GameRant, but I've done previous steps and still stuck. Is the recipe in the mailbox? Is it in the inventory? Does it auto unlock? Because I've done all the steps up to collecting Touching Grass #3, I've made countless reclaimed tables and chairs trying to trigger it, and nothing is working.
Please devs, view all images and let me know what step did I miss?
Sorry I meant this for the devs, and I have more screencaps to explain. I think it somehow got combined with someone else's post which I didn't intend to do, I was trying to start a new discussion, so I've gone ahead and done that and included more screenshots. Thanks for your advice, but I think the game has glitched it out since it shows that the wooden throne is the next event step for me and points to the woodworking bench.
You need to do the “Have a Sim spend time Outdoors” or “Return to Desert Bloom Park” first so that you can get the points needed to claim the wooden throne. You don’t have to do the tasks in the order that they are shown on the screen. You need to do the other tasks first, to get the required points. Then you will have enough points, so you can claim the wooden throne. Then the option will appear to craft it on the woodworking table.
Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone has the solution to this problem I'm having. I'm doing the "Nature's Calling" quest and I'm at "Echoes From The Cave". I'm supposed to craft the "Wooden Throne" on the woodworking table...But, although my Sim is Level 8 Handiness like it says to be, there's NO option to craft the Wooden Throne under craft furniture like it says to do!
Can anyone advise me on this, please!?!
