Need help adding a pet back into a household after moving without them.

Help! I accidentally moved my household and my pet didn't come with them! I didn't notice right away and now I can't figure out how to add my pet back into my household. My sims are still friends with the dog so I can invite her over but I can't figure out how to add her back in since I never saved the family to my library. Is there a way to add her back in to the household?

@JCCoggs if it is anything like (human) Sims:
1) invite the dog over
2) open up the cheat box and type in TestingCheats True
3) shift + click on the dog
4) click 'add to household'

@JCCoggs Oh no! Why is it even possible for a family to move and leave their pet behind? That should never happen. In addition to the cheat mentioned by @Thats_Me_Madz I wondered if the dog has the "stray" label in their name display. Is it possible to adopt her? Sorry that happened ... makes me cringe just thinking about it.

@JonaO703 Turns out I was just being dumb! A lot happened in that household the day I moved them out lol. My sim had married a single dad and as soon as she moved in the son aged into a teen. They got a dog and fast forward the son becomes a young adult and that same night my sim gets pregnant and then her husband dies (shock fixing the fridge). I move the son out into my household for my college sims and move my sim in with her rich grandparents so she can raise her baby and try to bring her husband back to life. Turns out I accidentally moved the dog in with the college household! Crisis averted!
