@Sophieee09 Hi! I'm a little confused about what it is you want here. In your image you have a couple tables and a kitchen placed already. Do you just want ideas for where to place that existing furniture? Also, is that just a sitting area or a living room where you have the bay window?
Edit: In case you were just looking for some ideas, I thought I would suggest a concept like this.
The sitting area / TV space is reduced by one tile width and a wall was added by the cooler. I replaced the small table with a desk and put it in the small bumpout off the kitchen. I also added a bookshelf there to make it a complete study area. I'm not a big fan of a linear kitchen so I moved the cabinets and appliances to the corner and placed the island next to that. This left plenty of space for a large dining table. Is this the kind of thing you were looking for?
- @JonaO703 not using exiting furniture i just couldn't figure out how to layout this room.
- @JonaO703 bay windows area maybe sitting area or dining room not sure. i went into a complete sims block. i have ideas for the other part of the house but went i get to another other part i go completely blank
Here is the full layout of my current build. ignore the flooring in the bigger room i havent changed it yet. the house is a fixer upper house i found on the gallery.
the rooms at the top of the picture are the living room and the 2 rooms on the right are laundry room and small bathroom. just need help with help with the bigger room i need a kitchen and dining room just dont know how to layout it out my mind went blank. also want to add something to the hallway as its a little big i need something to kinda break it up maybe add a wall or whatever not sure.
any ideas?
kitchen and dining room can be separate not one huge open plan.
Front of the house so far
@Sophieee09 Okay. I understand now. I will take another crack at it. I do love your design so far!
I wondered if you might upload this build to the gallery so I can download it and work from your original. You might even ask others on the gallery for ideas as well. I know a lot of folks like doing challenges like that. You could put something in the description like "Please renovate the dining and kitchen area!" and add a couple tags like #RoomForSophie #RenovationIdeas, so you can easily find them when they are uploaded. Also, doing it this way would help you know the specific pieces of furniture and design elements used in the build, instead of just guessing from an image. The only issue might be some of those windows which I think might be CC. If that's the case then those won't show up if users don't have them in their game. Anyway, just a thought. :-)Edit: Here is another design. What do you think?
- @JonaO703 i will upload it to the gallery once i've finished. the house does have cc
- @JonaO703 the original house i'm working from is called abandoned suburban house
- @JonaO703 once i've finished the house i'll upload more about it on my tumblr
https://sophiesimmeruk.tumblr.com/ @Sophieee09 So I guess my ideas weren't what you were looking for? lol Anyway, good luck and I hope you find the right design. Have fun building! :-)
