Still hating it.
Old cry: https://youtu.be/BC_xhyrWjBY?si=Xtfpw8tj3wasDxmx obviously a much longer sound loop
New cry: https://youtu.be/H41FVXBtAgI?si=4izIi6cZeiKOISwA short and repetitive
I don't have the patience with it, they get about one day of babyhood to cry as much as they want to and then they get aged up. That noise goes right through me (I think I'm better with puppies and kittens). It sounds kind of mechanical sounding to me 🤔. I'm not a fan either. They get cuter at infant stage I think...and they start to sound more human. 👶

I was watching a challenge where someone had four newborns going at once and it was super noticeable. They weren’t synched, just slightly offset.
Naughty mod player: I can cheat an infant’s needs in a pinch (Nanny doesn’t show up or isn’t doing a good job) but not a newborn’s, so I age them up to infant before I go anywhere without them.

I have to keep reminding myself they are pixels as I freak out, while their parent just strolls casually over to pick them up off the ground. Like, nothing to see here...just an infant sim alone in Grims Quarry at midnight or in the middle of a main road with their needs all redlining 😭.
