No 'ask to be partner' OR 'propose' option

Soooo I started this household with the two parents already married, now I'm a fair bit down the line, they've gotten divorced and the ex-husband is in a relationship with another woman (a mistress, gasp!). But they're not really in a relationship? The 'ask to be boyfriend/girlfriend' option never showed up. I play with mods, so I tried moving the mods folder and opening the game up vanilla, still no option. I went in to CAS with cas.fulleditmode on and changed their relationship to 'partners' to see if either of them could propose, but no. I feel like I've tried everything and this is ruining my storyyyy ;-; Any help is very much appreciated! <3

P.S. The guy was non-committal, but I removed the trait in CAS a while back, he was still getting negative buffs from it though, so I added it back and then removed it using UI cheats in case that's what was causing the issue, still nothing though... Help!

    Ask to Just Be Friends seems to zero out the Romance bar but doesn't remove it. It worked for me with Sims who were Engaged or Partners, and ended the Engagement or Partnership. It also worked with Sims who didn't have a commited relationship. I didn't try it with any married Sims.

    @Sketch793 No, I meant if you have the ask to be partner/propose options ? They are under relationship now, right ?

    EDIT:

    Have a new couple now in my game and they have the option: Ask to be romantic partner under relationship (no sub menu)

    I ended up putting in a cheat to make them partners, then engaged, but when I then tried to get them married the option to get married didn't come up either. Just fantasise about weddings and plan a wedding, but not get married now. I eventually just clicked on elope immediately but yeah its becoming an issue with my other sims too. I'll bring up a picture with the next couple it happens to.

    Hey there,

    I'm also having this issue to the point where no sim can get a pink romance bar at all. I can only be woohoo partners with sims, but I can't date, propose, or marry.

    I've tried it with and without mods enabled. Even created new save files for both.

    I learned that if you make them "woohoo partners", they can't become romantic partners without having them to end the woohoo relationship.

    At least that's the only thing that I've been able to figure out.

    crinrictI'm also having this issue. No matter who I try to romance, I cant gain a pink bar without changing relationship. There is no option in change relationship to ask out or confess feelings or anything though
