No matter what I do/try my sim will not reset

I have been having trouble with my sim not being able to reset at all. I even trying 'reset object' and going into the cheat bar and doing the good old 'reset sim firstname lastname' and its not working. I also tried resetsim* as i was told this can reset all the sims in the current save, along with also traveling with another sim within the household.  Its been 2 months this has been happening, I have tried to start over in a new game with the same sim that keeps freezing/getting stuck (Im able to play all other sims and saves with no issues) to no avail. . I'm not sure what to do, Has anyone else had this issue in the sims 4? I dont use mods or any CC.  Any help would be amazing!

    I’ve used a different house,but it is a sim I made on ps4 and put on gallery and downloaded the sim on my pc. I was thinking this could be a reason?

    No it shouldn't matter if you created them on PC or Console. 

    Do you have the Sim still in the gallery ? Could you post the name here so I can check them out ?

    resetting for me works fine. Wonder if getting stuck is tied to the familiar. Does she also get stuck for you if you hide the familiar ?

    Also, to be clear that we're on the same page: What do you expect reset to do ? Does it work for you if she's not stuck (like she stand somewhere else, possibly does a little T-Pose when you reset her ?
