No mods/no cc treehouse won't upgrade

NO MODS/NO CC TREEHOUSE WON'T UPGRADE:
has anyone else run into this problem?
i placed the treehouse in a park and made sure there was a 3 square clearance on each side of the 10x10 area, so there was plenty of room to build and the treehouse wouldn't be obstructed. the sim building it has maxed handiness skills.
but he can't ever finish upgrading the treehouse slide or sliding pole. he started the upgrade but then when the timer ran out for it, "resume slide upgrade" and my sim only performed a two second animation of upgrading before stepping back as if he was done. but again, the treehouse had the option to "resume slide upgrade". the same thing happens when he tries to upgrade the treehouse with the sliding pole.
there are no mods or cc in my game, my sim has maxed handiness, and there are two squares on all sides of the treehouse, leaving a used grid of 12x12, so there's plenty of room to upgrade the slide and sliding pole but they are never finished.

    I have the same issue, on my residential lot. The slidingpoles appear in my household inventory in stead of on the treehouse. Even though the slide did upgrade properly on the treehouse. So I'm a bit confused as to why one upgrade did work and the other seems to not! I also can't drag the slidingpole from my inventory to attach to the treehouse.

    can u please help me I don't have any mods . and I got better executions to see why my sims were glitching because every townie and every sim I download glitches and I says because of shared tuning and I have no mods so im confused and I cant find tuning anywhere to delete it please help me!!

    I found this thread and post with Google. This is the closest problem to mine but not exact.

    The Google AI answers to this were Draconian. Delete and re-install your game. Excuse me. That should be the last option not the first.

    In my case I have no mods or CC and never have had. The only thing installed in my game is any packs purchased with the EA App.

    I observed the Enclosure option vanished from the Treehouse immediately after upgrading to the sliding pole. What I did is delete the treehouse and sell it off from the family inventory. I also sold off the slide and pole. Apparently, they are separate objects. I then bought a new treehouse and had my sim build it anew starting from scratch. The new treehouse has the enclosure option again but with no upgrades because the aren't  built yet.

    I suspect the pole upgrade broke the treehouse object as if somehow its presence obstructs entrance to the enclosure. I am going to avoid that upgrade and see if the bug comes back. I think it is important that those who use no Mods or CC post about bugs they experience to remove that variable from the mix.

    Hi! I also had this issue but was able to get it working.

    first turn on bb.moveobjects and then drag the slide from the household inventory to the treehouse, it should clip into place 🙂
