No Update Today?

I thought with the Behind the Sims on January 14 2025 there was also going to be an update to the base game, adding a new main menu and refreshes for some of the Townie's houses. I don't think it was clear when it would be available, when is this update coming? I could have swore I saw a couple simmers opening the game to the new menu but maybe they have some kind of early access I wasn't aware of.

    I restarted my computer and cleared the EA app's cache, even restarted the app for good measure. Still no update. :/

    I played the game a few hours ago and it updated it. But it crashed several times after the update unfortunately and the update was necessary or the game wouldn't play.
