Not gaining fame

Is anyone else having issues with gaining fame? My fame isn't frozen or turned off in settings, yet no matter what, my sim wont gain fame. I'm playing with no mods.

    I split your post from the bug report as it doesn't sound like the issue in that thread.

    Are you using mods/cc ?

    There's an issue with fame showing despite Sims being out of the spotlight.  You said that the you don't have it in the settings but could you try making them step out and back in to see if that helps ?
