Nothing happens when trying to snowboard/ski

My sims are at the ski slopes in Mt Komorebi and nothing happens when I attempt any skiing or snowboarding interactions. 

The interaction doesn't queue either.

Several sims congregate at the top of the slopes but they all get stuck there and none can go down.

Before they got stuck the interaction "wait in line" was queued. But waiting in line did nothing and all the sims were stuck at the top of the slope. I reset the slope object, all sims and reloaded and the same issue persists.

 

This was working a few turns but after a while it stops  working for all sims.

    seeurock55​  Are there any skis stuck anywhere on the slope.  One thing that happens is if you travel with an active sim on the slope, the skis will get left behind.  Then the next time you travel there, those left behind skis will still be there and stuck effectively blocking the slope.  The only way to fix it is to destroy them via shift-click on the skis and use the destroy option (testingcheats needs to be on first).  You need to be very careful using that option as it can easily wreck a save if you accidentally click on the wrong thing.
