NPC vendors on my lot

@sarahchristina18, this could be a bug... however, if you use Mods or Custom Content (CC) you should always check them any time you have a problem in your game (especially after a patch/update) to see if one or more of your Mods is outdated.  

Please do the following :

1) Move your Mods folder to your desktop.

2) Delete your localthumbcache.package file in the game folder

3) Fix the game in Origin by logging into Origin and and go to your Library, then Right-click on The Sims 4  and choose the option to "Repair Game".  Wait until it fixes all your packs and not just the base game.

4) Now when you turn on your game it will create a new, empty Mods folder.  Check your game to see if that helped, by adding your Mods/CC back one at a time, checking your game each time (unless you really have a lot, in which case the 50/50 Method would be better.)

5) Once you find the outdated Mod or CC, you will have to see if the maker of it has an updated version!   

If none of this works, then it could be a bug , but we have to rule out a Mods/CC problem first! 😉

@sarahchristina18 I would also recommend what @PugLove888 mentioned to check on your Mods and CC, to clear out any cache, and to make sure the game is updated to the latest version.

In addition to this I thought I would mention a couple of things. First, do you have any fireplaces on your Sapphire Shores lot? Personally, I built a on Sapphire Shores beginning on the night it came out. During my (long) build process and test process several of the initial Island Living bugs were present, and I build using work-arounds to avoid them. Note that I did not have any fireplace on the lot (PugLove did not want one and I was making it for her! 🙂). During my play testing and subsequent play on the lot I noticed initially that 1-2 vendors would stand just outside the property and just look around and stand - sometimes for days on end. If I left the lot the vender would be gone/unstuck, but soon or even initially either that vendor or another one or two vendors would appear with the same behavior. I don't believe that I even locked doors on that lot. Eventually this became less frequent, then I stopped noticing it at all. I think that @PugLove888 just began playing this build (and placed on Sapphire Shores in her game). So... I tagged her in this comment so we can find out if she has noticed anything like this in her current game.
