NPCs Defying Disabled Auto-aging

Today I discovered that an NPC Sim had aged up, despite me having auto-aging disabled for both played and unplayed Sims.

She doesn't live in any of the worlds, so does the setting just apply to “unplayed” ones and not “not in world” ones?

  • @ClamsAndYams Was it just one NPC ?

    There's several options on aging

Auto Age (played households) .. this is all households you have played with. Also has the option to only age the currently active household

Auto Age (unlplayed households) .. .this applies to all households you haven't played with.

So you need to set both options to no if you don't want any aging at all.

Thanks for the response, and yep, it was just one NPC. 🙂

I've already got both settings off, but I'm wondering if disabled auto-aging for the latter means there's no aging for Sims marked as “not in world” too.

Basically, the NPC has never been played and she also doesn't live in a house in any world, but she seems to have aged up despite the settings for auto-aging.
