Occult features still not fixed

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By adding occult eye and facial features to appropriate sims in CAS then saving and entering live mode. There is also a problem with weather appearing to come through the housing, but that's more a visual thing as opposed to a game play problem. It doesn't create a mess, but it often looks like it's snowing or raining directly into the homes.
What happens when the bug occurs? The added features disappear upon entering live mode. All of my spellcasters use eyes from the Vampires pack, and my newest Ghost, also a spellcaster, originally had eyes and eye features from the Vampires pack in order to appear more dead. It worked for the first 15 hours of game play and then nothing. All gone suddenly. Even my vampire's features are normal human. He has no dark form as the intent was to make an ancient vampire who never hides his features, that is who and how he is, and yet the sunken eye sockets and the glowing eyes that he had are now changed. I also noticed that my ghost spellcaster that was mentioned also had his ear piercings changed from the scythe piercing to the spellcaster ear piercings for no known reason at all. To be clear, these all worked fine when I first made this sim and started the Life & Death pack, and then changed without reason or warning. Most of my sims are spellcasters with 1 vampire and 2 werewolves and it's the spellcasters, including the mentioned ghost, and the vampire who are all affected. I even saved the new ghost to my library, started a new game, inserted him into the CAS, and the eye and face features were there as he was saved, but disappear immediately upon entering the live mode. Not even when making a new game does it save the features once leaving CAS.
It is now that the longer I play the new save, the more things are deteriorating in the game itself, from the Afterlife Anonymous meeting taking place more often than it should be scheduled to, to exiting CAS from just changing outfits and his portrait showed him as a living Sim, and not a ghost as he actually is. There is a strange stuttering in the game as well which only developed recently, and some of the ghosts just stand there, conjuring up materials with the ghost power, though I don't know how much of a glitch that might be. They just stand in one location and keep using ghost powers to create a mess. I can say when I first started the Life & Death pack, that wasn't happening. Tablets keep reproducing at an alarming rate when working as a reaper, to the point that every desk on the lower level has several tablets on it that seem to grow in numbers every time my sims goes to work as a reaper. Ever since installing Life & Death and beginning a new save, the game has just been slowly deteriorating over the last few days to almost becoming unplayable in its current state.
What do you expect to see? That my Sims be allowed to return to their proper states of being, as I designed them. It seems a bit lost that they can be assigned those features in CAS and yet those features are immediately removed upon entering live mode. Rather ruins the game play and the intended character when a sim who is made to fit and appear as that certain occult is rendered entirely mundane and unable to at least appear as they should, as they were designed to appear. I would also hope that the other problems are fixed but lets start with the CAS problem first, perhaps. At this point, however, the game is unplayable for me.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

Please describe the patch or change you made. Bought and installed Life & Death. Everything was normal for the first day of playing the new pack and then suddenly not at all.
