Occult/Cas Error

My occults are broken… When i planned a outfit my sims deleted himself from household. Repair this please😭

  • Dgck190555This sounds very much like an out of date version of the Twelfth Doctor’s Occult Hybrid mod. Did you perhaps miss updating that one, or perhaps fail to remove the original Iced Cream script when you did?

  • HI Dgck190555

    are you using mods/cc ?

To be sure, it was not the outfit/Sim that reset but the Sim was gone from the game completely ?

I use mods, but it has nothing to do with them. All my occult sims were removed from the game by themselves. Otherwise, all normal sims are working fine. Also, as I mentioned, my mermaid fins are not working either. My sims are only in the gallery, no longer in the household, etc.

Do yo have a backup from before they got removed ? There have been issues with outdated mods deleting occults in the past (even if they aren't related to occults.

Best you can do, is load a backup and remove your mods/cc and check if they still disappear without them.

If you saved without them and don't have a backup, they are gone.

The game makes auto-backups so maybe you they are still there on one of those.

Dgck190555 Hi, I do mod/CC support. The absolute only way to know that mods aren't the cause are to test without them. Plus, this is the kind of issue that is likely to be caused by mods or broken CC. Here's how, using these exact steps - don't skip any step, or you still won't know if mods are the cause:

    1. Drag the Mods folder to the desktop and rename it
    2. Delete the file called localthumbcache
    3. Open the game to test
    4. Exit without saving so your Sims don't lose their CC
