(pc) Can't select anything in My Library

I agree. And I don't think it's mod related since I can replicate this in a completely vanilla save with no mods or cc in my mods folder. I wished it was mods related, it would've been easier to deal with. 

I've been having this issue for weeks now. I thought it was my mods but I updated everything. When entering the gallery, I can click on thumbnails of lots with no problem. But the after clicking and viewing a few lots, I am unable to view anything. I click and click on the thumbnails and nothing opens. I have to close my game and restart, only for it to happen again. This, I believe, is from the April patch. I'm on PC with lots of (updated) mods.

So the library was doing better with May hotfix so I could place multiple lots down without issue like before the April update (and I returned to dx11 with memory boost)  except I ran into the issue again. It seems a lot/build will trigger this event and from then on I can’t interact with the thumbnails to see the other builds preview pictures or information. This time I was putting down a retail titled “willow creek shops”. No custom content was being used at the time this lot was being placed/when the error occurred. It took longer for this lot to place and then last ex occurred. I had placed another lot that had mannequins without issues. 

For me this started after the March patch. Before my gallery was working as usual. All my mods were updated as usual. I normally patch a month after each patch. I tried removing everything in the mods folder after trying 50/50, I tried memory boost then disable memory boost (which disabling somehow made it take a little longer for the problem to occur but it didn’t go away), and honestly gave up on that relatively new save file (less than four months) . So I tried a new save file and everything worked fine for almost all the lots to Willow Creek - until I tried to add the last lot (it’s 30 x 20) it’s next to 40 x 30, across from 20 x 15 and two other 30 x 20. The new build didn’t show on the map that it was changed. And then the gallery began acting up again like before. I exited but didn’t save. And from there the gallery has gone back to having this bug again. 

I also have this problem and I have no mods.

So I just removed my mods and deleted the cashe and exceptions and backed up my save. Booted up the game and got the same results. The first few lots I clicked on in my library popped up and everything I clicked on after did not. So not a mod problem, a bug in the game itself. 

So the first few I click, whether it's a lot or household works. But then after like 2 or 3 they stop being selectable and the only way I can click on them again is by closing the game, delete the cashe and exceptions and restart. Buuuttt, the problem repeats itself when I load back in.

• Please follow these steps to test  your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc
• Create a backup of your save game
• Move your mods folder to the desktop
• Delete the following files from your user folder.
  •   localthumbcache
  •   Any lastException Files
  •   Any LastCrash files.
• Test your save (you will loose all cc on the save but since you created a backup you can go back to that afterwards) and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

Also does it never work or does it work and then stop working after you clicked on a few ?
