Photos & Paintings Blacked Out

I applied my photos and paintings to my basement yesterday and when I opened my game today, all of the photos and half of the paintings were blacked out. This wasn’t an issue before the update, for reference. I don’t play with MODs or CCs, ever. I’m on a PC, brand new.  Also, my world is a bit glitchy. There’s a lot of cheating amongst sims, even “good” trait ones, I’ve played on a Desktop and PS4, this is my fifth save because they keep DISAPPEARING, which I will be contacting you about, but these interactions the sims are having .. aren’t right. Sims that should be compatible because of their traits, interests, hobbies, and etc, display zero interest in each other. My playing sim told a none play sim to “hook up” with another sim and the none play sim never spoke to the sim about this. The “hook up, trash talk, and talk up” prompts always work, especially if the sims are close, and i asked the none play sims to “talk up” one sims and they did it!! BUT I asked them twice to hook up with a playable sim AND to talk up the same playable sim, they told me “they’d get to”, but they never did. This is a glitch. 

I have 4 expansion packs: Horse Ranch, Get to Work, Life & Death and Seasons. 5 Stuff Packs: Romantic Garden, Luxury Party, Vintage Glamour, Paranormal, and Crystal Creations. I own 2 kits, Urban Homage Kit and the Little Campers Kit.
