@yumchun I think you are making some good points. I would appreciate if there was a way to add an owner-household area for living on the lot if you own a retail store with 'Go To Work' pack at least. Possibly with the Dine Out pack, also. I can see the following helping a bit with this:
- With the Dine-Out pack I would love to see code that allowed you to designate a table for the manager/owner so you can add it to a break room or living space and eat from it plus not have that mess up the tables in the restaurant. I would also love if you could hire a bartender or barista and make the profits from the drinks they make, and if they would open up bars and cafe's to use/create as restaurants for the 'Dine Out' pack or for a different pack.
- It would also be nice and more fun for certain types of restaurants if you could choose to live there and not own a separate residence/lot. Perhaps a way to designate areas/room types as business or owner?
- It would be great if a retail shop owner did not have to have a separate residence as well. You can live on the lot and lock your areas, but currently any time your sim leaves the lot they will return to their 'residential' lot and you have to bring them back to the shop. I just last night completed a tea/coffee bakery shop that is designed to be lived on by the owners (there is an apartment/home on the 2nd floor. https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/95B00B3CDA5D11E98EDE3A1D585935D7 There is also a slideshow for it in which I added some explanations of how to work/play it in the notes under the pictures. This is a 'workaround' method, but it can be managed: https://imgur.com/a/rRDXQtm?
