Pools are now uneditable

I built a pool in the basement of my sims house and when to edit the size only to find that I could no longer grab, move, edit, or delete the pool. Tried to place a room around the pool then delete the room but noooooo the pool persisted and prevailed. Gave up after that and came here. I love this game, but all these bugs are making it unplayable and just plain no fun. Please, fix the bugs.

    Could you please provide the following information

    -  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
    -  What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
    - Do you have the issue only in basements or also if it's a pool on the first floor ?
