Progress not saved when writing songs

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? dine out and get to work.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on piano, then 'write song', then a 'classical piece'.
What happens when the bug occurs? If the sim starts writing a song as asked, the progress bar in the sim's queue fills up as they write the song. I then ask the sim to stop. If the sim comes back to writing the same song, later on, the progress bar is right at the start again. It makes it very difficult to complete a song.
What do you expect to see? the progress bar should be at the same point as it was when the sim last added to the song.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

  • Hi @NikkiFord003

I've tested this and you're clicking on the already started music in your inventory to continue right ?

I have no issues continuing that way

In case anyone else shows up not being able to find song sheets in their inventory for the Digi-RAD Keyboard: the incomplete song is on a digital file, looks like an unfinished book (small, dark and rectangular) rather than a blue song song sheet like for other instruments.
