Question about Sims 4 transfer from Origin to EA app
I currently share an Origin account with my sister and we play on separate computers (at different times). I play on my Mac and she plays on her laptop. We share all the expansion packs. Since Sims 4 is moving to EA app for Windows but staying on Origin for Mac, will all of our current expansion packs be available to both of us on both Origin and EA app?? Or will only one of us get to keep the expansion packs? If we wanted to buy a new expansion pack, for example High School Years, would we have to each buy it separately, or will the expansion pack be able to transfer to both EA & Origin if only one buys it?
@greenwade Your EA App and Origin game libraries are the same, both pulling data from your EA account. So if you buy a pack through one app, it should show up in both. As a point of reference, I have multiple installs of Sims 4 in Windows and macOS, and all of my owned packs show in both apps.
Additionally, please be aware that sharing an account is technically against EA's terms of service even if it's within a household.
