Question about the updated hairs coming in birthday update

So, when I found out about some of the sims 4 hairs being updated (They added baby hairs), it lead me to a question, will a sim that I saved to my gallery with one of the current hairs be converted with the new hairs? Because I created myself in the sims with the braids in a ponytail hairstyle, and I am worried that my sim will be bald or not
