Random Work events, Always picking the wrong answer?

I've had several (30+) of these random events that pop up while my sims are at work. Every time it happens I'll pick something and it'll be the wrong answer and I'll get a performance drop for my career. Are the results for these choices random? Or am I really just so unlucky as to pick the wrong answer for these events every time? I'm not talking about the Get To Work careers either. More like the Good Cop, Bad Cop event that pops up for the Secret Agent as an example.

@Redflare947 You're just unlucky. None of them make any difference which you choose. The result is 50/50 random. I've chosen the same thing every time for certain prompts and got different results.

I’m having an issue with my detective career as well, but it doesn’t appear to be the same issue as anyone else. Whenever I click my suspect, I only get an option to interrogate them. It won’t let me do anything else along the interrogation lines like a good cop/bad cop, it’s so frustrating. Haaallllp! 😭
